If you are a new student who is already enrolled in the Plan and wish to enrol your spouse and/or dependants, select 'Enrol Your Family Now' from the Couple & Family Enrolments page to use the online family enrolment system. Online enrolments are secure, convenient, ensure quick processing, and allow you to receive an instantaneous confirmation of your Change-of-Coverage request.

If you aren't automatically covered, but are a new student eligible to enrol yourself, you will not be recognized by the online system and cannot enrol online. You can still enrol yourself and your spouse/dependants by completing an Enrolment Form.

New Students in Summer
As a new graduate student beginning your academic year in May, you are not automatically covered by the Graduate Benefit Plan. You can enrol yourself during the Summer Enrolment Period from May 3 - 18, 2012 for coverage from May 1 - Aug. 31, 2012. This only applies to students who were not registered in Fall 2011 or Winter 2012. If you were registered in the Fall or Winter term and paid the Plan fee, you are covered until August 31, 2012. If you opt out in Fall 2011 or Winter 2012, your opt out will be in effect until August 31, 2012.
