Prescription Drug Claims

Prescription drug claims using your Pay Direct Card

By presenting the Pay Direct Card with your valid student ID card, you can fill your prescriptions at most Canadian pharmacies. The pharmacist will be able to process the claim immediately, so you won’t have to pay the full amount up front and wait to be reimbursed.

The Pay Direct Card can’t be accepted during the Blackout Period. The Card is available at the Download Centre and at the Student Health & Dental Plan Office.


Prescription drug claims not using the Pay Direct Card

1. Complete the health claim form (indicate your student ID and group policy/contract numbers).

2. Attach the original receipts and documents.

3. Keep a photocopy of all forms, receipts and documents.

4. Mail to the insurance company at the address on the form or drop it off at the Student Health & Dental Office
