Dental Accident

The Plan covers 80% of the cost of repair/replacement of natural teeth damaged through an external accidental blow to the mouth according to the CLHIA Reimbursement Guide or the Provincial Dental Fee Guide for General Practitioners (the province where the service was performed), to a maximum of $1,000 per accident. If you visit a specialist for covered services, your reimbursement will be processed according to the equivalent General Practitioner fee.

Treatment must be completed within the 12 months following the accident.

Please note that this benefit is covered under your Health Plan and not your Dental Plan.
