Couple & Family Enrolments

Eligibility
Your Plan gives you the option to enrol your family (spouse and/or dependants) by completing an enrolment form and paying an additional fee, over and above your individual fee as a Plan member. Common law and same-sex couples are eligible.

Please note that the ADD benefit (insured by Sun Life) only covers spouses that are under age 70 and the Travel benefit (provided by World Access) only covers spouses that are under age 65.

Deadlines
All couple and family enrolments must be completed by Oct. 31, 2009. Coverage is only for the current policy year. If you want to cover your dependants in subsequent policy years, you must renew your couple/family coverage before the deadline at the beginning of each school year. Enrolments can't be processed after the deadline.

How to Enrol
Fall Enrolment: Enrolments can be completed at the AMS Front Desk, before Oct. 31, 2009.

Winter Enrolment: New students beginning in January who wish to enrol their spouse and/or dependants for coverage from Jan. 1 - Aug. 31, 2010 must do so by completing an Enrolment Form at the AMS Front Desk between Jan. 4 - 30, 2010.
