Dental Accident

Dental services, including braces and splints, are covered for the repair/replacement of natural teeth damaged through an external accidental blow to the mouth. Coverage is based on the fee stated in the Dental Association Fee Guide for a general practitioner in the province where the service was performed. If you visit a specialist for covered services, your reimbursement will be processed according to the equivalent General Practitioner fee. 

Treatment must be completed within the 12 months following the accident. The maximum coverage is $1,000 per accident.
