All full-time students and day part-time students who are members of the SU are automatically covered by the SU Health & Dental Plan. This does not include international students. Co-op students on work term in the Fall will be automatically covered.
- Fall Term students are billed the full year fee for coverage from Sept. 1 – Aug. 31
- New Winter Term students are billed a pro-rated fee for 8 months of coverage from Jan. 1 – Aug. 31.
- New Spring Term students are billed a pro-rated fee for 4 months of coverage from May 1 – Aug. 31.
- Fall Co-op work term students are billed a pro-rated fee for 4 months of coverage (Sept. 1 - Dec. 31) and then billed again in Jan. for 8 months of coverage if they return to classes in the Winter Term.
