Chiropractors

The Plan covers the cost of a chiropractor for a maximum of $20 per visit and up to $400 per calendar year. One x-ray per calendar year is included in this overall maximum.

Chiropractic Network
In addition to the chiropractic benefits included in your student Health Plan, studentcare.net/works is working with chiropractors to provide Plan members with additional savings.

As part of their commitment to students, Network chiropractors will charge Health Plan members no more than $35 for an initial assessment and $30 for subsequent visits.

This means that if you combine your chiropractic benefits with the Studentcare Chiropractic Network savings, you will pay no more than $15 for an initial assessment and $10 for subsequent visits, after reimbursement from the insurance company (until the yearly maximum is reached). This represents an 80% discount, according to the Fee Guide published by the Chiropractic Association of BC.

The choice is yours

You are not limited to Network members. You're covered for the insured portion of your Plan regardless of the health professional you choose. By visiting a Network member, you will get additional coverage.
