Change-of-Coverage PeriodThe Change-of-Coverage Period is the period at the beginning of the Term when you can either opt out or enrol your spouse and/or dependants in the FEDS/GSA Health & Dental Plan. If you're starting in the Fall, the Change-of-Coverage Period is from Sept. 4 - 28, 2012. If you’re a new student starting in the Winter Term, you can opt out or enrol your spouse/dependants during the Winter Change-of Coverage Period, from Jan. 7 - 25, 2013 for coverage from Jan. 1 - Aug. 31, 2013. If you're a co-op student who was not on Academic Term in Fall 2012 or Winter 2013, you can opt out or enrol your spouse and/or dependants during the Spring Change-of-Coverage Period from May 6 - 24, 2013 for coverage from May 1 – Aug. 31, 2013. If you are a new Spring Term student who was not enrolled in the previous Winter Term, you can also enrol yourself and your spouse/dependants during the Spring Change-of-Coverage Period.
